On 1 October, during the Verona fair, Yves Barraquand, Chairman and CEO of Wheelabrator Allevard, addressed a roomful of visitors that included more than 80 customers.

For the first time, Wheelabrator Allevard brought together its two core
activities – metal abrasives and diamond tools – on a single stand at
the Verona fair held from 30 September to 3 October 2009. Customers
were able to discover the group's complete range of stone-cutting
technologies, including both abrasive and diamond wire.
